As in the title. If you wanted to buy Arkham Knight and you haven't preordered - do not buy it. It is horribly optimized, and it is an Unreal Engine 3 game. Framerate drops are so bad it is actually unbelievable. Arkham Origins ran beautifully compared to this. Rocksteady, what have you done? EDIT: Proof? 1 Take advantage of the weak walls, you can take out 6 enemies or more if they're standing in front of it. 2 Use environmental takedowns on minigun enemies. 3 Watch out for mines during fear takedowns. 4 rec gun detective mode jammers to temporarily disable the jamming effect. 5 You can punch enemies on the ground holding the crouch and attack

"Batman: Arkham City is what you get when a studio isn't trying and is content to rest on its laurels. Other than the half-hearted attempt at an open world setting, nothing stands out as being an improvement on the previous game and many things that Arkham Asylum did well were completely fumbled here."

The unofficial DC Comics Subreddit A place for fans of DC's comics, graphic… Arkham Knight will either be unplayable or will be significantly downgraded to be playable, and will most likely be locked at 30 FPS. I will say though, with proper optimization arkham knight could be a pleasant experience. I finished New Colossus on the switch which came out at a similar time to Knight, and it looked good!

Not sure if I should ask here, but the performance in Arkham Knight was really bad, especially in driving missions. I have all NVIDIA options turned off, set the settings to Low, and even lowered the resolution to 1600x900 and then 1366x768, and still the game performs badly. The settings menu showed that I only used 1,98 GB of 4 GB VRAM.

Batgirl's A Matter of Family is a solid story about 35-60 minutes long. It's kind of like a baby Arkham Asylum. It's a contained area with tons of detail. There's a main mission but also collectables and a mystery to solve that's optional. Good Easter eggs too. Worth getting. The Arkham episodes are more or less a series of Combat challenges
