They shouldn’t deliberately neuter FNaF just to appeal to kids but they shouldn’t go over the top with gore just for the R rating. I think pg 13 as long as it is not too kid friendly. Given how this is a business and making it R could cut out a huge part of the audience for FNaF, it will most likely just be PG-13.

The jump between PG-13 and R is massive, it would just be better if there was another rating in between. I think the FNaF movie might possibly be rated M in Australia since M3GAN, a movie made by Blumhouse, is rated PG-13 in the United States but M in Australia.
