Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. Not too in depth, some scenes might’ve been moved around or added (like L and Light in the rain scene) or removed (Like more evidence that L had on the second Kira) in the anime for the series that people might miss out on, but if I remember correctly thats more of an issue in the second part of the series than in the first half, but here’s a general overview from what I can see.
