These earpads are visibly thicker and bigger, which should also reduce the clamp pressure for increase comfort. In the following we analyze the Yaxi earpads for sound, comfort, and optical appeal. The Yaxi earpads fit our Koss Porta Pro, Koss KSC75, and the Sennheiser PX 200 and 100-II. They also fit the KPH30i.
Dubhe14 2Ω • 1 yr. ago. Koss headphones are great because of the unreal performance they have for the price. SPH9500 are going to be better than either, but you could also buy the KSC75 and Porta-Pros for the cost of the Phillips. I don’t have the SPH9500, but I have the KSC75s on a PartsExpress headband with Yaxi pads, and they’re my
The Legend of Koss Porta Pro. The Koss Porta Pro headphones were first introduced in 1984 as a portable variant of the classic Koss SportaPro headphones. They quickly gained popularity among music enthusiasts who sought lightweight, portable headphones without comprising audio quality. Decades later, these on-ear headphones are still highly
Koss KSC75 Impression. Many claim audiophile sound at a low cost but there are few that really earn that reputation. Koss has earned it and deserves it. In the low price bracket, Koss has certain models that are legendary, offering sound that no one would expect from something so cheap. Two of the most famous of these are probably the PortaPro

721. Dec 18, 2021. #21. These measurements correspond pretty well to my subjective impressions of the Porta-Pros. I have an older pair of KSC-35 and I’ve always thought they’re more balanced in the bass, without the hump of the Porta-Pros. It’s strange because people online say they’re the same drivers (though Koss is cagey on this

I would like to show you how I replaced the original DAS drivers with Koss Porta Pro drivers. Everywhere you read that the best headphones were the ones from the Rift CV1. The CV1 drivers are from Koss. So I bought some used Porta Pro and took the risk of losing the warranty on my DAS and in the worst case having defective Koss and a defective DAS. Headbands and ear pads will reshape the frequency response. It makes sense that the Porta pro drivers will lose the warmth going to clips but it doesn’t gain the better treble quality of the titanium driver. It would be interesting for you to measure the ksc75 with headband mod and Yaxi pads. ZYlYSdE.
