Native to native bannerlord for sure is an improvement, and it bothers me seeing people ragging on it here. These games rock. But, I do prefer my prophesy of pendor warband to bannerlord, because I feel it is a more complete experience, albeit with worse sieges, graphics, and physics.
Landowner needs Manual Laborers - This quest can pay the most gold of any in the game, provided you have enough higher tier bandit prisoners. Early game it's a key source of income even with only looter captives. However, you will skip it later in the game. Inn and Out - Very quick and can pay ~200 gold to complete.
Money making has been massively nerfed around the board and likely will continue to get balancing. Bannerlord money is actually already really close to Warband. I usually played PoP mod so I might be somewhat off with these numbers, but my dyeworks/leathershops costing 10-12k would usually net me 400-600 every week.
Ash shaft removes requirement for wood which drastically increase price, harpoon head has best damage per iron and maxed length increase that damage. Though it's not top price item, it's really close to it and requires only 1 iron and 1 coal to make, so easily manufactured at huge scales. Which one need to open each part.
I think the best way to make sure your workshops are making money is to look at the resources of surrounding towns and build a shop that utilizes recourses that are plentiful in the region to decrease materials cost. Sell to make profit: Sell each type of horse to the city while still βin the greenβ (still making money on the trade). End transaction. Decrease prices: Sell all remaining horses to the city to reduce the price (The more horses you sell the lower the price will be for the next round and the more profits you will make). End transaction.
There's a generalized formula for how much profit/loss you get for each upgrade. Recruitmient/upgrade costs change based on perks. Just plug your gold/influence per troop in up top. As a general rule at low values tier 3 troops sell for the most and tier 4 troops are profitable at high merc prices (210+).
