V. v8hotwire Discussion starter. 17 posts · Joined 2020. #1 · Jan 31, 2021 (Edited) I have owned my 2016 f33 420d from new and am considering a remap. I am happy with my car, and not after speed, but if a remap adds mpg and a bit of torque, that would be nice [emoji4]. would it add torque or mpg?
The customer asked us to rip it all out and provide him with a custom exhaust system with a DPF solution so we used T304 stainless steel pipes (2.5”) with mandrel bends (descaled) which gave this vehicle an instant change in sound and 100% flow. With our performance remap and DPF solution we managed figures. BMW F30 320D.
I wanted to create a thread on the official ‘remap’ that BMW offers for the 3 series. This in my experience is a bit of an unknown quantity as I have had Dealerships tell me that it doesn’t exist. I am happy to say it does! This is my experience after a few weeks of driving.
You need to pop out the usb / aux in the centre console and check to see if the usb cable has been spun round or is loose here. 2. Pop out the hu and check if it is loose here. 3. Buy a new usb cable with outlet and check if the old one is damaged. Appreciate 0. Quote.

Friday 27th July 2018. 0-60 will probably be near enough what it is now. From my experience with remaps you should find the power delivery to be smoother, and you might see very minor improvement
The E90 320d does NOT have DPF - just a normal Catalytic converter. The F30 320d has DPF. I know this for a fact as my 2011 (320d - 135 kW) was confirmed by BMW as NOT having a DPF. Gearbox OIL must be changed so as to avoid problems later. Give Ricardo a call at ZF Services (079 349 1123).
